Chief Forester’s Standards for Seed Use

 

On June 18th, 2021 the Chief Forester released a memo informing seed users and producers of the intent to amend the Chief Forester’s Standards for Seed Use to remove the Geographic Based Seed Transfer (GBST) option as of August 2022. 2025 FNABC Scholarship Recipient

Evan Reed lives in the Thompson Shuswap area when not at the University of Victoria pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science degree with a major in biology and a minor in English. He plans to focus on a career in forest ecology with a particular interest in sustainable environmental management. He has worked at Purple Springs Reforestation (sponsor) in a variety of roles for the past 5 summers.
